FLIP Fluids x ASCII
The original goal was to get familiar with TouchDesigner, so I worked through an ASCII tutorial on YouTube and started playing with blending modes in the composite TOP, which pulled me in a slightly different direction. The base ended up being a FLIP pour sim built in Houdini, paired with some funky subsurface scattering materials in Redshift. Not technically ASCII art in the end, but the foundational logic is the same. The art direction pulls heavily from that 2010s, neon-soaked, silly bandz wearing era.
